Slender Gel is a hoodia product that has brought on quite a bit of controversy lately. It may work, but it may not.

The evidence is mostly brought out by successful use in actual people. It is hard to find actual evidence of satisfied consumers using this product. That does not mean that it does not work.

However, it does raise a “red flag” in some people. There needs to be enough evidence that a product works for people to believe that it actually does work. Otherwise, what is the point of even trying it?

This Slender Gel Hoodia product may be an example of exactly that. There is quite a bit of information out there about it. However, this information may not be necessarily enough to convince a user that it actually works.

The Concern

There is not much actual evidence that the Hoodia Slender Gel actually works. However, there seems to be quite a bit of sales copy pointing to the fact that this product may be the very best, lowest priced, most successful, and the strongest.

However, not much evidence is offered to this fact. The hugest problem is that there is not yet much evidence that that hoodia Functions trans-dermally (meaning, that it absorbs through the skin).

So save your funds for any Hoodia solution that is established to assist suppress your appetite and shed pounds. Don’t waste it on fad items. It is possible that Slender Gel could be one of those fad items.

Of course, the only sure way to know is to do research. You should find out for yourself whether a product is helpful in this regard or not. If not, then you should beware.

It may not only be safe but it also may not even be effective. Never judge a product just on ad hype alone. It takes a little bit more serious consideration than that.

Diet Max may be your answer if you are looking for a supply of hoodia that you know works. However, you have to learn more about it to find out whether it does work or whether it is just another ad gimmick. Only a little time and research will tell.

Brief Evaluation

Hoodia Diet Max is most likely going to be more safe than other solutions used to help suppress appetite. However, that may be only because it barely has and hoodia gordonii in it. Usually a dosage that equals a bare minimum of 750 mg for the day is widely accepted as effective.

The adage is that you “get what you pay for” is often true. There is a reason why Hoodia Diet Max is so cheap. It does not even have enough substance in it to actually be profitable.

It is actually super-amazing that Hoodia Diet Max even received any positive reviews (at least in my opinion). However, one good aspect of it is that it has in it other weight loss support ingredients.

For instance, it has in it the fat-burning power of guarana and chromium along with other ingredients (a form of both gymnema and phosphatidl). This product actually would be more recommended for fat burning versus appetite suppressant.

However, as it stands 25mg of hoodia in a product does not make it an appetite suppressant. It is more widely accepted to use products that have a far more abundant amount of this succulent plant in it.

Alternatives

Unique Hoodia is one that should be on the top of the list. It has been listed number one on numerous review sites. Others that may be helpful but not quite as potent include King Hoodia and Hoodia Prime.

If you have concerns about the safety of using a dietary supplement talk to your doctor. You should be especially concerned if you have heart problems or diabetes.

Premier Marketing offers a very inexpensive hoodia product. It is a patch that has on it a supply of hoodia gordonii. It also has a little bit of guarana in it for good measure.

Advantages

This is a patch and not a pill so it enters the bloodstream much faster. The dosing is much more consistent because all you have to do is put it on once throughout the day. This is great news for people who for whatever reason cannot remember to take the capsules at the right time.

It is this great ability to take this particular hoodia gordonii product more consistently that allows it to help a person get to an ideal weight much faster. The best part about this product is that it has received positive customer reviews.

People have noticed within days that it helps reduce appetite. It almost works too good for some people! Most people were pleased with the results, with seemingly very few disappointments.

Disadvantages

The dosage level is not as high as for certain capsule products. However, this may be simply because it is just not necessary. The only other disadvantage is that some people have to be reminded to eat, which may be okay for the average person. However, it may not work for everyone and some people were not pleased with the results.

However, for the person who may have an eating disorder for instance could have a problem. It could make some people sicker. People with diabetes are also sometimes not recommended hoodia products because it could affect their blood sugar levels.

Hoodoba® Pure 750 has been around long enough now for people to start noticing. It has even received up to 5/5 starts in consumer reviews.

Of course, more data needs to be collected yet to find out how this product would actually do for he masses. Meaning, right now only a few user reviews have been posted about it that are balanced enough to prove how well or how not well this product works.

Dosage

One way to determine the quality level of this product is to find out what the dosage of each pill is. It has in it a 750mg serving of hoodia in a pill form. For most supplements like Hoodoba® Pure 750 experts agree that you should take three doses of the product to experience the effect of it. Usually it is taken once before mealtimes.

This product has a fair amount of this natural plant source in it. Therefore, it should be more effective than the average supply of this substance. It is more potent than most hoodia gordonii supplements that are intended to help you stop being so hungry.

Overall Evaluation

The owner of Hoodoba® Pure 750 does have a C.I.T.E.S. certificate, which allows them to export the supply of h. gordonii that helps them product this supplement. Therefore, it is concluded that it does have the right species of this appetite-suppressing succulent that has P57 enzyme in it.

Realize though that using this supplement may not take away your psychologically addiction to food. That is, if you have a compulsive eating problem. It will, however, help curb your physical appetite.

Irwin Naturals Fast Action Hoodia has is advantages and disadvantages. The major plus of using this product is that it is shipped by a company that offers fast delivery.

Therefore, if you want to get started on using it you can within a relatively short amount of time. The company generally sends out orders the same business day.

This product does have the right type of hoodia in it that actually, helps suppress appetite (or at least that is what some sources claim). This in fact is something that has been known for quite a long time now. Ancient South African tribes people used it during times of famine and expedition.

Recent studies today are being conducted on this plant in order to confirm the fact that it indeed does seem to have an effect on appetite. So far, these modern studies have proven that it does have appetite suppressant qualities on animals but no extensive research has been done on humans.

So what does that mean for consumers who purchase products like Irwin Naturals Fast Action Hoodia Diet? Well, it could mean one of a couple of things. Perhaps nature and history is far ahead of medical science, or perhaps this entire claim is a hoax.

Chances are, however, if evidence of the appetite suppressant qualities shows up on animals and is documented in history most likely the claims are true. If you need further convincing of the safety and effectiveness of the plant source of hoodia gordonii present in products like Irwin Naturals Fast Action Hoodia you can ask your doctor, nutritionist, or other specialist.

Other Ingredients

Besides the main ingredient, which has been the focus of this article, this product also has in it green tea extract which measures at a standard 80% caffeine level. This is a very popular source of metabolism and energy booster.

Other ingredients in this product include the following: Ginger extract, Choline, Inositol, and other natural substances often attributed to weight loss. Additional ingredients include glycerin, purified water, lecithin, beeswax, and other fillers.

Brief Evaluation (And Concerns)

One concern about using this product is that it does contain stimulant ingredients such as caffeine. The ginseng also is one that is somewhat of an “upper” although it does not cause the type of crash that is characteristic of caffeine.

In any case, users are forewarned (especially if they are already insomniacs) not to use this product too late at night. It is advised if you are going to use it to take it earlier in the day. Also, you should make sure you take it according to instructions and do not expect it to be your only answer regarding weight loss.

The Delmer Lab Dex-110 product has been scrutinized lately. On one site alone, 13 people who have given mixed responses reviewed it.

Rating Average

When calculated the range of responses regarding Lab Dex 110 the rating average out of 5 starts was 3/5 stars. This is a fair report, not great. In order to understand why this product did not receive 4 or 5 stars you can look at what consumers have said about it:

One person noticed it made her “so full [I] couldn’t eat.” However, this person known as “Anna” on the Internet also mentioned getting a stomach ache after using it for two days. She discontinued use of it.

Another person noticed that it did some good. However, this person known as “Kim” was disappointed. She was hoping for greater results, not just average improvement in her desire to eat less.

On the other hand, a guy named “Matt” rated this product 5/5 stars based on the improvement he has seen in his wife. This goes to show you how different everyone who uses this product really is. The trick is that his wife combined the use of Dex-110 with a regular exercise program.

Another person who is only known as “LKH” reports feeling “woozy” after using this product. “For me, this was not an effective product,” says LKH, “I continued to eat just like I normally do.” That is not a good sign.

Another lady named “Cynthia” seemed to have a better experience than other users. Like Matt, she rated it 5/5 stars. “People think Hoodia is supposed to make you lose weight but that’s not exactly true.” She explains how this plant source is supposed to help you suppress appetite.

However, she also says, “You have to make the effort to stop eating when you aren’t hungry.” That is probably the hardest thing for people to do, by the way.

Many hoodia supplement consumers are extremely frustrated. They wonder why they are not getting the results they expected, which was to be able to refrain from eating too much.

They have noticed no improvements and they also notice they still weight the same as always. So why is that?

Why are Consumers Disappointed?

Oftentimes hoodia creators use false evidence to support their products. Worse yet, they use ineffective parts of the plant when processing a supplement.

This is especially true when selling the pill, but also could happen when the product is sold in any other form. By the way, from the research that I have conducted as far as I know the most effective portion of this plant is the aerial stem of it.

However, in some cases maybe the seed is acceptable. However, for the most part the best success has been with the stem.

Put another way, consumers are very disappointed. They feel lied to and mislead in many cases. Let this be a warning to anyone seeking hoodia information today.

You need to be aware that well over half of the products out there are shams and frauds. Stay away from them!

Oh, and did I forget to mention that sometimes suppliers use a variation of this plant source that is not effective the right one! Only one variety (gordonii) actually has the P57 enzyme, which helps suppress appetite.

So what product is effective?

Capsules and other supplements of which authentic South African hoodia gordonii is the main ingredient is your best bet. It helps if the supplier has a real (not fake) C.I.T.E.S. Certificate on file that helps, too. However, this printed online-albeit convincing-is often hard to prove. It can be copied from any place!

How do you rate them?

This blog (Hoodia Reviewed.org) is designed to help people who are looking for an effective hoodia supplement. You should rate each product you find according to reputation, as well as consumer experience. Of course, history of safety is vital.

There is a product out there that is called Hoodia Extreme. The company that makes it as well as other advertising materials suggests that though this product is only for “serious dieters” that they also try to convince you to purchase it.

They do this by telling you that it contains three times more of this plant source than other extracts, pills, supplements, teas, etc. However, you have to realize that although this alone may be true it is still necessary to evaluate the product based on its own attributes apart from other supplements that are out there.

Also, when you evaluate products like this be aware if it says the capsule or pill is for instance “over 1,000mg” you also need to read the ingredient list. It is best if actually purchase products such as this from companies who display exactly how many milligrams of each ingredient is in the bottle.

Furthermore, you need to know a little bit about the supplier and producer of any product you purchase, such as the Hoodia Extreme. This will help you understand the methods by which they obtain this very important plant source for their products.

For instance, many products out there may contain “Pure Hoodia” as stamped on the outside of the bottle label. However, which part of the plant is actually in these pills? You need to know that it is the flowering part of the gordonii species of hoodia that is effective as an appetite supplement.

Therefore, you are reminded as always to do your research. The hard part is, that evidence regarding this product is heavily based on consumer experience. However, this is probably your best resource as more evidence and studies need to be conducted on the science of this type of weight loss system.

As it stands, users of “Hoodia Extreme” have provided mixed reactions-either it worked for them or it didn’t. Really, right now it is all about trial and error when it comes to using this supplement, which the company who makes it is known for the liquid extract form of it.

Of course, keep in mind that finding reviews of this product can be confusing because there are so many with the word “Extreme” in the brand name. That can make these difficult, but your well-being depends on finding the safest, effective products and the most current information.

Hoodia has been a buzz word especially since after ephedrine products were banned. However, did you realize that research on this drug actually started in the 1960s?

But that is not all. It was actually used by ancient South Africans for thousands of years. So why is it all of the sudden it seems to matter to people?

Well, the fact is that the ancient Bushman tribes new that it worked, but they just never took the time to figure out how.

That was the main goal of research research-to find out what exactly is it about the hoodia gordonii succulent (sometimes called cactus) that makes people not as hungry? It took 30 years to figure this aspect out, among many other facets of this great mystery.

However, scientists have finally determined it is the P57 enzyme that is only present in the mature form of the gordonii plant, and of no other species of the same name (hoodia). It is not as well-recognized for its metabolic functioning as perhaps acai berry or other natural resources. However, it often is combined with other special ingredients to be a benefit to people.

According to Web MD.com hoodia is attributed to “lots of hoopla, little science.” Let’s explore this for a second to figure out why this negative statement about this plant has been made. It is likely to help you determine the validity of claims made about it.

The reason why the headline of this article posted on Web MD.com refers to hoodia as “hoopla” is because even though there is evidence that it does work very little published scientific evidence is found. However, that is mainly because of the fact that the use of this plant in western cultures (especially) is so new.

It has begun to be popular as of the late 1990s in the U.S. and other locations on the “other side” of the world. However, it had been used as early as a few thousand years ago in ancient times. The question remains regarding this plant source: if it is so effective why did it take so long to be discovered?

This could actually be for a variety of reasons. One thing you should know happens is that the history of indigenous tribes such as the ones located in South Africa was often not written down. Rather, it was often passed to later generations orally.

The other problem is that it takes quite awhile for this plant source to mature (about five years), as it is the flowering portion that is effective. At any rate, the most substantial proof of its working power is in how it curbs a person’s appetite, as you have seen many times in the media.

By the way, it is only the gordonii species of this plant-which is really a succulent and not a cactus-has this appetite suppressant enzyme in it. This is commonly called P57, and is found in many pills, teas, powders, extracts, snacks, juices, candy, and even lip gloss.
